Study of Family Reading Support in UK

Abstract: Family reading has a very positive affect in building good parent-child relationship. Children’s communication ability and passions for reading could be developed through the daily routine of reading, which will help them to become life-long learners. British society and government place a great importance on family reading which receives multiple supports. This paper studies the major support organizations and their various supporting methods and analyzes the distinguish features of these methods in the hope of enlightening the family reading in China.
