Abstract: Through analyzing the current research status of rural libraries in China, this paper reveals the development trend in this field and provides theoretical reference for the research on the development of rural libraries in China.This paper integrally adopts the literature research and statistical analysis methods to sort out the research status of rural libraries in China from annual distribution, source journals, and author analysis, and systematically expounds the subject content of research papers on rural libraries in China. Then this paper concludes the shortcomings in the research of rural libraries in China and the development trend of the research in the future.
