Recognition of the Social Education Function of Public Library from Library Lecture Activities: Taking Public Libraries in Xinjiang as Examples

Abstract: Public library lecture activities attract public attention and are recognized more and more. Based on the experi- ence of Public Libraries in Xinjiang, from the aspect of the recognition of the social educational function of the library, this paper analyses the role and position of the lectures in this function, and gives thoughts of how pub- lic library lecture to realize the function of social education.
