Abstract:

： Local literature is the most unique part of the collection of public libraries. In order to attract readers to pay attention to and understand local literature, the collection unit especially the public library should construct and strengthen the reading popularization of local literature. This paper introduces local literature reading popularization service of Shanxi Provincial Library, puts forward some strategies of local literature reading promotion, such as actively exploring new mode of reading promotion service, using the new method to speed up the construction of local literature characteristic database, strengthening the construction and propaganda of local literature in the website of the library, using every opportunity to promote the collection of local literature.
