Abstract:

Compared with the developed volunteer service in United States public library, the volunteer service of public library in our country still has big flaws and shortcomings in the numbers of volunteers, age structure, service content and service security. The key points of the improvement include adjusting the service structure, accelerating the legislation and perfecting volunteer service guarantee mechanism.
