Abstract:

This paper investigates the cognition of the librarian to the legislation of the public library including management, provisions, rights and obligations through the method of questionnaire survey. Combined with the results of the survey and legislative experiences of China and foreign countries, this paper gives suggestions including having the public library rules text which has a clear legal responsibility and the specific operation terms, implementing the system of central library and branch libraries, strengthening the construction of financial security and encouraging social forces to participate in, realizing information resources sharing, protecting readers' legal rights and interests.
