摘要/Abstract

摘要： 20世纪的100年间，南非充满了政治和文化斗争，这些斗争延伸至图书馆界，对其国家的图书馆事业产生了深远的影响。南非这段时期的图书馆发展史，交织着进步与倒退、毁灭与新生。从政治与文化的影响层面探讨图书馆在南非国民生活与解放斗争中的作用，以期更好地传递开放、平等、智慧的图书馆精神。

关键词: 南非图书馆；图书馆史；公共图书馆；图书馆精神

Abstract: During the 100 years of the 20th century，South Africa was full of political and cultural struggles，which extended to the library circle and had a profound impact on the country‘s library cause.The history of library development in South Africa during this period is interwoven with progress and retrogression，destruction and rebirth.This paper discusses the role of libraries in South Africa's national life and liberation struggle from the aspects of politics and culture in order to better convey the spirit of libraries which stand for open，equality and wisdom.

Advance in Turmoil：the Development History of South African Libraries in the 20th Century：The Level of Impact Based on Politics and Culture
