Abstract: This paper briefly introduces the meaning of competition to promote learning mode in information literacy edu- cation of higher vocational colleges, expounds the safeguard measures from the aspects of reasonable guiding principle, content planning and perfect mechanism, introduces the practice of competition to promote learning mode in information literacy education of Guangzhou Institute of Railway Technology, and discusses the direc- tion of future development of competition to promote learning mode.
