摘要： 通过网络对我国西部地区省级公共图书馆特色数据库建设情况进行调查,分析西部地区省级公共图书馆特色数据库的类型和特色,指出其存在的问题,提出西部地区省级公共图书馆特色数据库建设的策略。

Abstract: By using internet, this paper investigates the situation of characteristic databases construction of provincial pub- lic libraries in the western region of China, analyses types and features of characteristic databases, points out the problems, and puts forward tactics of constructing characteristic databases of provincial public libraries in the western region of China.
