摘要： 长尾理论的兴起为新时期图书馆的发展提供了新的思路,丰富了图书馆信息服务的内涵.在概述长尾理论含义的基础上,分析了图书馆中存在的长尾现象,探讨了基于长尾理论的图书馆信息服务策略.

Abstract: The long tail theory provides a new thinking for the development of libraries in the new era,enriches the conno- tation of library information service.This paper summarizes the meaning of the long tail theory, analyses the long tail phenomenon in the library, and discusses the Information service strategies of libraries based on the long tail theory.
