Probe of Transformation for University Library's Subject Service: Taking MOOC as an Example

Abstract:

With MOOC as the entry point, by analyzing the current situation and existing problems of subject service for university libraries, this paper points out the necessity of carrying out the online subject service. And then it analyzes the feasibility of university library to carry out the online subject service from four aspects of resource support, technical support, librarians support and service content support. According to the qualifications of university libraries, this paper proposes the content of online subject service. Combined with MOOC, The paper presented that the key point of construction should be Online service of basic needs, WeChat management services for MOOC, spread service for MOOC, data management services for MOOC, information literacy education services for MOOC, and can also provide reference to promote Transformation for subject service of University Library.
