Abstract: Taking Tianjin library consortium as an example, this paper discusses the main contents and functions of the user analysis and user authentication module in user management system of Tianjin library consortium.The user analysis module mainly takes profession as classifcation standard to analyze the users＇information.The user au- thentication module divides the users into different groups by analyzing users＇characteristics.Library can un- derstand users＇ information needs from the user analysis and user authentication module to formulate service plans and establish an individual and initiative service system.
