Abstract: The old newspapers collected by library with the unique characteristics have high reference value and historical val-ue,the index database construction of local newspaper literature in library is conducive to the protection and use of newspapers.Taking the index database of Hainan daily as an example,this paper proposes some thoughts on the in-dex database construction of local newspaper literature in library.
