Abstract: Library. must effectively organize and manage digital resourees,provide the high level service for user in digital information era.Taking Shcnzhen polytechnic library as an example,this paper discusses the description models of multimedia document resources based on Aleph 500： using MARC metadata description model for traditional documents,using DC metadata description model for digital resources.
