Abstract: By retrieving the documents of institutional repositories cited by database,this paper compares and analyzes the research features of institutional repositories in China and abroad from the research time,research departments and researchers, research contents,research methods,forms of research achievements and so on,and discusses their different research features in order to find the direction of the research on institutional repositories.
