The Applicable of the Expansion of Library Reproduction: On the Relevant Provisions of the Copyright Law (Revised Draft)

Abstract: The reproduction of copyrighted works by libraries is one of the business of the library. The existing The Copyright Law of the People's Republic of China only provides the exception of preserving copies for the library, the behavior of reproduction unpublished works, the behavior of reproduction required by the reader, provide copies for other libraries, and perform the above-mentioned replication through the web Behavior, the law does not specify. The Copyright Law (Draft for Revision) also preserves the original legal provisions, which poses a potential legal risk to the operation of the library. The Copyright Law sets up the general clauses for the reasonable use of the library, improves the specific situation of the library's copy, protects the interests of the public, the copyright owner and the library and protects the library's preservation and dissemination of knowledge.
