Abstract: Library service should be promoted by classification and innovation. This paper divides library service into two aspects： basic service and advanced service,and explains different new ideas between basic service and advanced service. The author puts forward that the library service promotion should be from the beginning of the basic service,and emphasizes that the knowledge service and specific service should be developed well in order to really realize the promotion of library service.
