Abstract: Based on the experience on agricultural ecological course navigating database in the library of South China Agricultural University, this paper discusses the necessary of constructing navigating database for university key course. Depending on both the hardware and software in Library of South China Agricultural University, it analyzes the methods of designing and realizing for the ecological course navigating database, and demonstrates some questions that should be concerned after constructing the database, such as the production, maintaining system, and upgrading, etc.
