Abstract: The library personnel structure of certain universities in North China was investigated based on the age, academic credentials, knowledge background, sex, professional title and other related aspects. The results show that the objection of knowledge structure, the significant tendency of same age and the high ratio of female in this field are the main inhibition reason for enhancing library work efficiency. This paper puts forward some idea to solve the above problems, include establishing the secondary system, intensifying the strategy of inspiriting and restriction, concerning of occupation, reinforcing adult academic credentials, anti standing post training.
