Research on the Reading Promotion of Library-School Collaboration in Public Libraries: Based on the “Started Reading” Strategy of Elementary School in Lower Grade

Abstract:

The public library accumulates rich experience in the resources construction, information consulting and reading activities. It has important practical significance to cooperate with schools actively for promoting the construction of the scholarly family, elegant campus and elegant society. By analyzing the main factors of the children’s reading interest, clearing goals and direction for cooperative projects, stimulating the interest in reading, training “reading promoter”, establishing the joint mechanism of “library, school and family” and merging the social resources, this kind of model effectively promotes the children's reading to be a long-term development.
