Transition and Transcendence of the Services of University Library IC under the Maker Background

Abstract:

This paper introduces the concepts of “Makers movement” and “Information Commons”, analyzes its important features, and explores the links between the "Makers Education" and "Information Commons "in university libraries which is currently maturing. Significant advantages and necessity of introducing "Makers Education" are described university library IC. Finally, it sets forth that the most students ignore to read classic literature in reality, university library IC space should actively promote the establishment of classical reading room, and carry out related promotional activities around classic literature reading.
