Abstract: The librarian＇s image has an important influence on library work.There are differences about the librarian＇s image from the reader＇ s and the librarian＇ s perspective. This paper analyzes different views of the librarian＇ s image, gives interpretation of their social and cultural origin, and puts forward some suggestions on the improvement of the librarian＇ s image.
