Abstract: With the intent of raising the professional level of the sector, Australian Library and Information Association sets forth professional development goals for practitioners and makes an effort to achieve them through courses ac-creditation, professional qualifications certification and training, which can be derived for reference and as en-lightenment for Chinese library associations.
