The Current Status and Corresponding Strategies of Online Information Literacy Education of Libraries in Independent Colleges: Taking Top-100 Colleges in 2013 as Examples

Abstract: As the development of online information literacy education of libraries in Chinese independent colleges is still at the preliminary stage, this paper analyzes its existing problems on the basis of research on the online infor- marion literacy education of libraries in top-100 independent colleges in 2013. Some suggestions on developing online information literacy education of libraries in independent colleges are put forward from the following as- pects: building teaching platforms, enriching the content and form of teaching, putting emphasizes on learning evaluation and feedback, as well as cooperation and resource sharing.
