Abstract: The development of e-commerce improves the requirement of users for e-commerce website. The necessity of the optimization of e-commerce websites is on the increase greatly. This paper classifies e-commerce websitesto three types, analyses the application of faceted classification in e-commerce websites taking Taobao, Jiuxian, Dangdang websites as examples. Finally, it proposes some suggestions of the application of faceted classificationin e-commerce websites.
