Abstract:

The library online book acquisition is being restricted by the platform function and management system, which is gradually being abandoned by the library. The “Internet + Book Acquisition” model has characteristics of networking of acquisition procedures, visualization of book data, and readers’ participation in generalization, which incorporates the advantage of traditional book acquisition model. The “Internet + Book Acquisition” is still at the exploratory stage at present, with many platforms lack of commonality, lack of visualization of paper books, incomplete information of books, and obstacles to interface with library management systems. This paper proposes development strategies such as platform integration and sharing, establishment of book data visualization standards, establishment of data sharing rules to guard against data sharing risks, and promotion of library management systems to the “cloud”.
