摘要： 从城区公共图书馆区域信息中心、公共学习和教育中心、社区休闲中心的定位出发,以深圳市盐田区图书馆为例,讨论城区公共图书馆读者服务和读者活动的目的、方法和效果。

Abstract: This paper discussed the purpose, method and effect of reader service and reader＇s activities in urban public li-brary from the position of urban public library regional information center, public learning and education center,community recreation center. Shenzhen Yantian District Library was described as an example.
