Abstract: The less than four-year college libraries enter a crucial phrase now. Analyzing their present situations and relevant stipulations and making a comparison with American counterparts, the paper suggests that the standards for the less than four-year college libraries should be formed after the debates, should be conducive to improving the operations of the technical college libraries and should serve their final missions instead of strengthening their construction.
