The Link Analysis on Websites of Universities Libraries in USA --Taking Websites of Thirty Universities libraries in USA As an Example

Abstract

Abstract: Choosing the websites of thirty universities libraries in USA as research sample,using AhaVista and Alltheweb as search tools. Based on the statistical analysis of finks of library websites,this paper points out the correlation between the quantitative measurements of its finks and university ranking and academic reputation of universities, and brings forward some parameters which will be used on evaluating the quality of universities libraries＇ websites.Finally, the paper draws a conclusion of the reliability and uniformity of search engine.
