Abstract: The discretion principle is one of accounting basic principles, simultaneously also is one kind of widespread management methods. This article discusses the application of discretion principle in library from the library funds, the library service, the library network information, the library statistics, the library crisis management and so on, and points out the positive sense of using the discretion principle in library management.
