Abstract: ＂The doctrine of bringing＂is prevalent in Chinese library science resesxeh during more than one hundred years.It leads to the absence of academic originality and results in the situation that Chinese library science research gets into ＂import surplus＂ state and can＇t export research fruit to other countries.Actually,both scientific and humanistic library science discourse in the West has their limitation. And Chinese ancient library science thought can make up for the above limitation. Only if Chinese scholars have output consciousness can we walk up to the academic originality road;only if we stick to our identity and position can we construct ＂Made-in-China＂original library science theory.
