Abstract: Based on Science Citation Index Expanded（SCIE）,this paper statistically analyses the published papers of jiangxi authors which are recorded in SCIE database in 2007 from the types and language of papers,the subjects of papers,the journals,the cooperation of authors and the authors of papers.The analysis shows that with the increasing of the number of publications of Jiangxi authors recorded in SCIE database in 2007,the number cf high quality papers is increasing steadily,but there is a great difference compared with other provinces,and a breakthrough in quantity and quality of papers recorded in SCIE must be made,in order to improve the academic standards and the international influence of Jiangxi province.
