Abstract: With the development of digital library,constructing a system which adapt to the co-construction and the sharing of resources in digital library has become an imminence task in the construction of digital library.This paper studies the application of XML in digital library,and analyses the process of using xml to create the metadata.The study has some reference values to promote the co-construction and the sharing of resources in digital library.
