Abstract: Traditional pricing strategies are not appropriate for online information products because of its special technological and economical characteristics.This paper mainly analyzes the motivation and principle of pricing strategies of online information products version classification by using economical models from the viewpoint of marketing science,and generalizes how the self-selection mechanism works.
