Abstract: According to the main aspects of the library＇s characteristic resource platform construction, including the content design, data collection, information storage, knowledge organization and processing etc., this paper takes the big data as a technical method and new tool to provide knowledge services, mainly analyzing their specific applications in various aspects; furthermore, the innovative development of characteristic resource services mode in the big data environment is proposed, as well as the constraints and related countermeasures of big data applications in the characteristic resource construction and services are elaborated.
