Abstract: With the rapid changes of information environment and information needs of users, embedded subject service is rising and has become a new trend of library subject services in Chinese university libraries.？This？paper ex- pounds？the connotation of the embedded subject service, analyzes？the？necessity？of？the embedded subject service developed by university libraries, and discusses the embedded subject service models combining with the practice of university libraries at home and abroad.
