Abstract: Due to the different understanding of different catalogers for the definition of the 101 field, in addition, literature language is complicated; define the relationship vaguely between the original, translation and translation con-tained with many languages; the content of cross between different assignment, so it is difficult to judge,there is a variety of practices in describing the 101 field. The summary induces the each kind of assignment situations of the 101 field indicator, especially for definition of the 101 field indicator, in order to clarify the relationship between each assignment, to guarantee consistency and standardization of literature description, and to improve the effect of sharing.
