The New Perspective to Promote Social Reading of the Local University Library

Abstract: At present, the research literature of the promotion of social reading in university libraries mainly is concentrat-ed in the current situation of domestic and international comparison, the specific investigation, promotion mea-sures, dose not analyze the obstacles of promotion activities from a higher level. Basing on this, with the help of the enterprise management theory, this paper discusses the reason and obstacle of local university libraries to promote social reading from the consciousness, system, strategy and implementation, the principle and method should be grasped at every level.
