Abstract: Recently, with the operating of urban rail transit, in order to meet the growing needs of the readers for reading, the subway library emerges naturally. This paper expounds the current situation and operation mode of the subway library based on different construction examples around the world. Combined with the present situation of the construction of Shenyang subway, it discusses the feasibility of the construction of Shenyang subway library and some issues to be considered in the process of subway library construction.
