Abstract: As a public cultural service venue, the public library should actively construct the cultural and leisure space for the reader, take ＂ popularizing high quality reading ＂as a task to satisfy people＇s demands of education, information, research, culture and communication. Taking Hunan Library as an example. This paper makes a random interview to readers and makes a comparative analysis of well-known brand culture clubs, discusses the construction of the cultural and leisure space for the reader in public libraries.
