Abstract:

Scholars used to treating the distinguishing pseudoscience in North Song and South Song Dynasty as a same stage. From analyzing the scholars who devoted to the distinguishing pseudoscience, the books that had been authenticated and the achievements in North Song and South Song Dynasty,this paper suggests that the distinguishing pseudoscience phases in North Song and South Song Dynasty are completely different. Besides, it also concludes the reasons that caused the situation, which include law of subject development, different academic atmosphere and economic issues in North Song and South Song Dynasty.
