Abstract:

This paper, on the basis of introducing its extensive literature of Republic of China (1912-1949) housed in Sun Yat-sen Library of Guangdong Province, from perspectives of original preservation and reproductive preservation, analyzes such factors as setting up standard stacks, improving preservation conditions, cultivating professional talents, establishing literature conservation-restoration room, conducting related restoration work, literature photocopying, microfilming, digital scanning and database development.
