The Strategy of Improving the Reading Literacy of the Left-behind Children in the Public Library

Abstract:

This paper expounds the concept of reading literacy through the two major student academic evaluation projects of PISA and PIRLS,analyzes the importance of reading literacy to the learning and life of the left-behind children, puts forward the responsibility, mission and strategy of the public library to improve the reading literacy of the left-behind children.
