Abstract:

The problems existing in the development of public library volunteer service activities affect not only the developing quality of volunteering but also the scope and extent of the participation of social forces in library service. On the basis of the volunteer management practices and the data of survey,this paper sorts out current problems in volunteer service activities and effects,and further discusses some measures for volunteer work.
