Abstract:

Public libraries spread and popularize knowledge of humanities and social science with the advantages of location,resources,environment,service and other aspects of knowledge,but still exist some problems:know the importance is not enough,the popularity is low;resources waste seriously,and disconnect the masses demand, professional team construction lagging and so on.Suggested that the public library should take strategies(government-led,relying on all kinds of national large-scale cultural projects;reasonable use of various communication methods;comprehensive utilization of traditional and modern technology;strengthen the performance evaluation)to achieve the norm of humanities and social science knowledge spread and popularization,and promoting public service and the mass culture needs effective docking.
