Abstract:

Taking the construction of training platform in the reference and consultation platform of Jiangxi public library as the starting point,through the investigation,this paper finds that there is a certain theoretical gap and skill gap in the work of the reference librarian of the public library in Jiangxi province.It is an effective way to improve the service level of the reference librarian to strengthen the theoretical study,skills training and business communication.It introduces the course Hyperlinked Library(Hyperlib MOOC)produced by Michale Stephens who is a professor at the School of Information of San Jose State University,proposes to set up“the on-line study center” in the Jiangxi province public library reference and consultation platform,and sets up the related sub-column.Some countermeasures and suggestions are put forward for the training of the reference librarian.
