The Visually Impaired Service of Foreign Libraries and Its Enlightenment to China

Abstract: First,this paper sketches the visually impaired service of foreign libraries. Second, it analyses the present situation of the visually impaired service and the main problem of public libraries in Henan province. At last, it points out some ways to improve the level of the visually impaired service in Chinese public libraries, such as the support of the national policy and financial, strengthening the construction of literature resources for the blind, enhancing the propaganda about the visually impaired service, carrying on the visually impaired readers activities.
