Abstract:

Many libraries are using microblogs to show good network images. We selected Xiamen University library as a case study. The text of microblogs within 12 months was crawled using GooSeeker, and the high-frequency words with the semantic network were established using ROST CM 6.0. A content analysis result shows that the image of Xiamen University library on Sina microblogs can be categorized into cognitive image and emotional image. Comparing to cognitive image, including good facility and atmosphere, high-quality resources recommendation, rich activities broadcasting, and high-quality information services. the emotional image is underestimated.
