Comparative Analysis of “Double First-Class” University Library Subject Service

Abstract:

Through the network investigation of the development of the subject service of the library of "two first-class universities", this paper draws up two common problems: Lack of thought and knowledge, and the construction of subject service in form; The low level of service discipline construction and the insufficient of service innovation ability. Combined with the Delphi method of "double top universities" library subject service to do the evaluation of comparative analysis, obtained three important conclusions: the degree of ideological cognition directly determines the development ability of the library's subject service;(The input and rational use of university funds have an important influence on the development level of library subject services. No logical connection between the discipline construction of University and the level of Library's subject service. This paper puts forward 3 suggestions on the development of University Library Subject Service: pay attention to the construction of the professional team, the top-level system and planning design; strengthen the construction of discipline service platform, optimize the content innovation of discipline service; improve the subject service of the investment funds, to ensure the rational use of funds.
