The Usage Behaviors of Academic Social Networks by High-Cited Researchers: A Case Study of ResearchGate ZHANG Yao-kun,NIU Yan-xia,WANG Chao-zhou 2018, 48 (6):  1-8.  Abstract ( 406 )   HTML ( 1015 )   PDF (1380KB) ( 742 )   Save Academic social networks are profoundly influencing and changing the way researchers connect, share information and collaborate during innovation. This paper aims to investigate the characteristics usage behaviors of ESI highly cited scholars on ResearchGate. The results show that 38.66% of ESI scholar has registered with ResearchGate while and scholars from social science scholars have the biggest registering rate. ESI scholars tend to sharing public information such as projects and research materials instead of unpublished information. Meanwhile, ESI scholars tend to displaying personal information and obtaining academic information but make relatively little use of Q&A services. The spearman correlation tests show that information sharing behaviors have a strong correlation with scholars’ influence while social interaction behaviors do not. Even though, there still have issues that have not been revealed. The book cataloged many writings of the Jiangxi Province's scholar, so there are many errors in the related summary. Based on the usability evaluation index system of mobile library built by Delphi and AHP, it designs the user test and questionnaire to obtain quantitative evaluation data. The data analysis tells the usability situation and problems. Finally, four suggestions on usability development are proposed: ensuring the effectiveness of basic services; promoting the integration of online and offline services by “Internet plus”; mining deep mobile information demand; improving efficiency from detail. On the basis of the characteristic of their employment relationship, recruitment channels, library operations, and salary and welfare, it analyzes the advantage and disadvantage of different modes of employment, then discusses the predicament of employing non-permanent staffs in public libraries currently, and puts forward a number of operational measures, which provides significant references for public library managers and government authorities in reforming library employment mechanisms and improving service efficiency. However, the development of county library in the northern part of Guangxi province has lagged behind due to its poor economy, backwardness of the area and the shortage of professional staff. This paper makes a research on how personnel training is carried on in the county libraries in the northern part of Guangxi province by the means of questionnaire and on-the-spot investigations. The results of the survey are collected and further analyzed to understand the need and expectation of public libraries. Combined with the Delphi method of "double top universities" library subject service to do the evaluation of comparative analysis, obtained three important conclusions: the degree of ideological cognition directly determines the development ability of the library's subject service;(The input and rational use of university funds have an important influence on the development level of library subject services. No logical connection between the discipline construction of University and the level of Library's subject service. This paper puts forward 3 suggestions on the development of University Library Subject Service: pay attention to the construction of the professional team, the top-level system and planning design; strengthen the construction of discipline service platform, optimize the content innovation of discipline service; improve the subject service of the investment funds, to ensure the rational use of funds. The reader's recognition of the service of the public number of the library's Wechat is low, the service function of the public number of the library's Wechat is imperfect, and the timeliness of the service of the public number of the library's Wechat is poor.
